Sažetak
New polyciclic compounds of bis-thiazolbenzo[c]cinnoline type were prepared by multistep synthesis. The key step was the formation of C-C bond between two benzothiazole moites. From several examined copper mediated aryl-aryl bond formation only method of Copper(I)-thiophene-carboxylate promoted coupling was successful. The products shown in Figure 1 were obtained from the corresponding o, o’ -disubstituted 6, 6’ - or 7, 7’ -bisbenzothiazole by the cyclisation reaction.
