Sažetak
Tourism can be studied from several points of view. Considering permanent and daily changes on the market and changes in the economies of countries which are giving and accepting tourists, the needs of doing research are bigger and very demanding. The present work has the aim of investigating tendencies in the consumption of food and drinks of tourists from eastern european countries in Istria. This research satisfy the need for permanent observing of events in tourism. We used a survey method on the representative sample in the Istrian tourist destination, with the special review on the tourists from eastern countries. We observed what they most gladly eat and drink, which restaurants most gladly visit, how much they spend for food and drinks, are to their opinion prices of food and drinks too high etc.
