Sažetak
Since 1977 in our ENT department stapedotomy and small fenestra operation is a routine procedure. With this technique we performed more than 1235 operations. In 85 cases we put under the hystological examinations the suprastructure of stapeses. We find a lot of big changes similar to otosclerosic focuses described on the footplate. Our intention was to explain what is the cause of those changes.
