Sažetak
The generalized differential quadrature method as an accurate and efficient numerical method is developed for the Timoshenko beam problem. The numerical algorithm for this class of problem is presented. Differential quadrature appriximation of needed derivatives is given by a weighted linear sum of the function values at grid points. Recurrence relationship is used for calculation of weighting coefficients.
