Sažetak
Extremely high sea surface temperature was recorded along the eastern Adriatic coast in summer 1992. accompanied with bottom temperatures bellow the long term average. There are some evidences that in the Adriatic such thermal conditions caused the absence of the Gonyaulax polyedra red tide bloom. According to numerous papers, extraordinary wether conditions in Adriatic in 1992, may be related to the global disturbance over the Northern hemisphere.
