Sažetak
The aim was to improve the screw design. There is a correlation between the initial overstrain and new bone overgrowth used for further autotransplantation. Mechanical deformation was induced in bovine bone by DCS. Method of object raster show higher stress - strain distributions around the DCS with chisel thread than metric threads. Conclusion - lamellar structure of cortical bone and chisel threads induces wider 3D deformation.
