Sažetak
The results indicate statistically significant differences among the groups of participants in antropological and athletics variables obtained in the final measurement. No difference was registered in the initial measurement. Hence, the obtained differences can be assigned to the influence of the programmes of extracurricular activities. Since the track-and-field group of participants has achieved statistically significant better results than the members of other two groups, it is feasible to conclude that the athletics programme has considerably contributed to the outcome. The results of canonical correlation analysis indicate that the motor variables have more contribution to the track-and-field performance than the anthropometric variables. The findings are applicable in the PE curricular and extracurricular teaching programming.
