Sažetak
Security of content transfer in communication channel can be implemented in many ways. Needed level of security can be realized with technical measures and through communication protocols. Identification of the sender and content can be realized through organizational and cryptographic measures. Validity of each business transaction is conditioned by the usage of personal signature or personal signature and seal mark on the documents. Transition towards e-business requires the existence of electronic signature. In the developed post-industrial countries electronic signature is foundation for the whole e-business. In Croatia such foundation is not yet completely established. The signer is unambiguously identified and authenticity of the document is assured with the usage of electronic signature. Once the trust in electronic identity is established, a big obstacle in spreading of e-business is removed.
