Sažetak
The congestion of vehicles in the road network of Zagreb would be tolerable if modern telematic technologies of traffic guidance are applied. This article concisely describes (the status of) the existing automatic traffic control system with traffic lights in the city of Zagreb. Considering the existing system, the road network of the city and the traffic demand, possible directions of architecture development in the folowing years are presented.
