Sažetak
After the introduction the paper is dealing with the problem of a map projection choice for aeronautical charts. Lambert conformal conical, Mercator, polar stereographic, gnomic and equidistant azimuthal projection are researched more chosely. The choice of the Lambert conformal conical projection is concluded to be the best one. The choice of standard parallels for aeronautical map of Croatia at the scale of 1:500 000 is being considered.
