Sažetak
A first locality of the species Eriophorum vaginatum L. was found on June 18 2000 on a relic high bog in Trstenik (MTB 04 52) in Gorski kotar Region. Beacuse of the canals dug across the bog, the water regime was altered. The bog is very degraded, while some of the rare bog plants are critically endangered. That makes it probable that the species Eriophorum vaginatum will soon disappear from the Croatian flora.
