Sažetak
The paper deals with the results of niobium solving and precipitating in the course of thermomechanical treatment of microalloyed steel. Electrolytic isolation, X-ray phase analysis and transmission electron microscopy were applied to determinate the change of niobium precipitation degree, type and share of precipitates, as well as nucleation and the growth of precipitates across the phase of the final thermomechanical treatment. The degree of precipitation of niobium carbonitrides initiates a strong increase of induced precipitation. The nucleation of these precipitates occurs at dislocations inside the grain. Niobium carbides and niobium nitrides were identified.
