Sažetak
This paper is a part of broader investigations of the influence of register error and other errors in printing on the noticeability of the colour print quality decrease at average observer, without the usage of optical means in real conditions of the product applications. After the obtained prints with correct colour registers, the deliberate controlled register shifts were done for each colour separately, while the other three colours had good register. The shifts were done to the point when the error on printed motives was clearly visible without optical means. After the prints were cut without margins they were divided for evaluation between two groups of examinees. One group was the group of students of the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb and another, the group of people who have no connection with printing. Both groups were without previous cognition about register error for individual colour. For all the examinees the environmental conditions and lumination were the same. The investigations performed in the paper are continuation of the researches presented at IARIGAI 2000, in which the correlations of full colour register error were established in real conditions of usage, with the printing substrate quality, screen and ruling.
