Sažetak
Recently, the need for 3-D approach to measuring roughness has increased due to the many advantages over the 2-D approach. Respective studies are under way at the LFSB (Laboratory for Precise Measurement of Length). The original method has been developed of separating waviness from roughness. The paper presents an example that shows how the method is used to filter the surface. Also, the filtered surface has been described using the 3-D roughness parameters.
