Sažetak
Calculated data on metal acceleration at the deformation site and required inertial forces are presented. The values of inertial forces are plotted as functions of rolling rate, elongation, and diameter of rod. The necessity of taking into account inertial forces when analysing parameters of rolling in finishing stands of high-speed mills is shown, especially when tension in rod between stands is present.
