Sažetak
The way magnetic and superconducting order influences each other, the issue being raised, during the decades, in the context of low-Tc borides, Chevrel phases and carbides, remains to be at least equally interesting in the context of high-Tc cuprates. In ruthenocuprates, superconductivity sets-in inside a magnetically ordered phase, revealing a true microscopic coexistence of the two order parameters below, typically, 30 K. We report on remarkable variations characterizing magnetism of the two known superconducting ruthenocuprates. While one of them (named Ru1212) develops spontaneous antiferromagnetic order, the other one (named Ru1222) reveals a spontaneous ferromagnetism. Our high-resolution ac susceptibility studies have discovered a reach magnetic dynamics and a &#8216 ; soft metamagnetism&#8217 ; characterizing Ru1222, compatible with the scenario of ferromagnetism representing just a component of a more complex global magnetic order in this compound.
