Sažetak
UML (Unified Modeling Language) and SDL (Specification and Description Language) have emerged in different historical and technological moments and for different purposes. Nowadays, they both have their role in modern software development: UML for system analysis and basic design ; SDL for system design and basic testing. Areas of their utilization are partially overlapped, thus option for joint utilization has emerged. This article gives short explanation of UML and SDL, their backgrounds, characteristics and capabilities. The main concern of this article is UML and SDL in cooperation. A pilot project, which utilizes both UML and SDL, is described.
