Sažetak
Mobile software agents are programs that can move across the network, from one host to another, and perform some actions on a behalf of their owner. The lack of standards in the area has slowed this promising technology from its fully employment. After years, international standardization body, FIPA, has developed several standards concerning agent platforms, agent communications/interoperability, as well as potential agents' applications. One possible area of usage, content management, is especially interesting in era of distributed environments such as Internet. This article gives short overview of agent technology along with their application in content management area.
