Sažetak
The basis has been given for the application of CAD&CAM in the process of design and production of the spline milling cutters for splines machining. By applying the numerically controlled machine tools the necessity of milling cutters producing by special machine tools for reliving is avoided. By means of mathematical modeling of the form and edge geometry of spline cutters-backed off for spline manufacturing one can derive basis for optimization parameters of form and dimension influencing the tools cutting characteristics, as well as durability, or the tools service-life and the quality of the spline manufactured by this tool.
