Sažetak
At the University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Kinesiology was the only site to teach locomotion biomechanics to undergraduates. Following the need to teach biomedical engineering students interested in this interdisciplinary subject as well, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing a new elective course, bordering between biomechanics and robotics, has been introduced a few years ago. Further, a new elective course - the subject of this presentation - has been designed and offered to students of Medical School. It explains the inverse dynamic approach, modern locomotion measurement methods, and gives examples from clinics, i.e. of various pathological locomotions. Modern computer-based simulations are also introduced. The course is to be thaught by an interdisciplinary tailored faculty team.
