Sažetak
The study deals with the microbiological safety of game meat, with particular reference to the presence of Salmonella spp.. 72 samples of game meat were randomly collected at the commercial level of the Zagreb market (Croatia), from which two strains of Salmonella spp. were isolated (total of 2.77% of tested samples). Salmonella paratyphi B was confirmed in both samples of deer meat.
