Sažetak
Fabric yellowing caused by crease proof finish using citric acid adding cocatalyst-AlCl3 (strong Lewis acid) has been tried to be prevented. The results obtained show that by increasing the quantity of cocatalyst the degree of whiteness rises and yellowing decreases. The impact of citric acid treatment on colour difference is differs with yellow, red or black coloration and varies from DE* 0.7 to DE* 5. But with blue coloration it is very high and varies from DE* 11.5 to DE* 13.5. By adding the cocatalyst in quantities of 5 g/l coloration changes are decreased in all cases. Higher colour difference is noted for yellow coloration in the event of more saturated shades, especially when treated with cocatalist.
