Sažetak
The basis has been given for the application of CAD and CAM in the process of design and production of the profile roller-chain cutters for chain wheel machining. By applying the numerically controlled machine tools the necessity of milling cutters producing by special machine tools for relieving is avoided. By means of athematical modeling of the surfaces which formed cutting edge end influenced to geometry of roller-chain cutter backed off for chain wheel manufacturing, and one can derived bassis for optimization parametrs of form and dimension influencing to the tool’ ; s cutting characteristics, as well as to the durability, or the tool’ ; s service-life and to the quality of the chain wheel manufactured by this tool.
