Sažetak
U radu je istraživana morfologija, fitocenologija i ekologija vrsta roda Festuca L. na travnjacima Istre. U tu svrhu sakupljen je herbarski materijal za morfometrijska istraživanja, izrađene su fitocenološke snimke livada i sakupljeni su uzorci tla za mjerenje pH vrijednosti i količine kalcijevog karbonata. Dodatni podaci o ekologiji dobiveni su na temelju Ellenbergovih indeksa. Na travnjacima Istre ukupno je pronađeno osam vrsta iz roda Festca: F. rupicola, F. valesiaca, F. lapidosa, F. filiformis, F. nigrescens, F. trichophylla, F. pratensis i F. arundinacea. Morfometrijski podaci za vrste iz F. valesiaca grupe analizirani su metodama univarijatne i multivarijatne statistike. Pokazalo se da se morfološki mogu razlikovati vrste F. rupicola i F. valesiaca dok je vrsta F. illyrica istovjetna vrsti F. rupicola. Fitocenološko-ekološka istraživanja su pokazala su vrste roda Festuca dobre indikatorske vrste prilagođene na specifične ekološke prilike i stoga vezane na određene tipove travnjačke vegetacije.

Morphology, phytosociology and ecology of species from the genus Festuca L. on the grasslands of Istria were researched. For this purpose the herbarium specimens were collected as well as the soil samples for measuring pH values and calcium carbonate levels. Phytosociological records on the researched grasslands were also made. The additional ecological data was obtained based on the Ellenberg's ecological indices. It was found eight species from the genus Festuca on the grasslands of Istria: F. rupicola, F. valesiaca, F. lapidosa, F. filiformis, F. nigrescens, F. trichophylla, F. pratensis and F. arundinacea. Morphometric data gathered for species from F. valesiaca agg. were analysed using standard and multivariate statistical methods. It was shown that morphologicaly determinable species are F. rupicola and F. valesiaca while the species F. illyrica is identical to the species F. rupicola. Phytosociological and ecological research showed that species of the genus Festuca are good indicators adapted to specific enviromental conditions and therfore bound on particular types of grassland vegetation.
