Sažetak
Developments of sewing machines used in garment industry are discussed. Leading machine manufacturers in the world have presented new generation of their machines as the last IMB exhibitions. The machines are characterized by a high degree of automation and control of all of their functions. New ergonomic solutions are also presented, together with workplace design and some futuristic technical solutions of sewing aggregates. Various attachments and devices have also been presented, all with the aim to improve sewing machine efficiency and further enhance the quality of the article of clothing produced.
