Sažetak
IDA Field is a shallow multi-pool GAS FIELD located in the southern part of the Northern Adriatic Contract Area. It is situated approximately 50km WSW of Pula, about 35km SSE of Ivana field, 14km NE of Annamaria field and 7km NE of Ika field. The field is divided into four different pools according to their structural and sedimentological characteristics. From 1980 to 1989 INA-Naftaplin drilled nine exploration wells in the Ida field area. The gas is of biogenic origin composed mainly of methane (>99%), with traces of CO2 and N2. During 1997 the acquisition of the 3D seismic volume was done. The revision of hydrocarbon potential, based on results of 3D seismic interpretation integrated with the available well data started in 1997 with the main objective to update and optimize the previous development plan. The appraisal well Ida-2 drilled by INAgip in February 2000 confirmed the presence of reservoirs PLQ1-D4 and PLQ1-D7 as the most important development objects in zone C. The new well also found several additional gas bearing layers of minor importance. The structural study and reservoir geology review have been based on available data coming from 10 exploration wells drilled in Ida gas field area integrated with the interpretation of 3D seismic. Detailed geological model for the layers PLQ-B1, PLQ1-D4 and PLQ1-D7 has been carried out in order to perform a more representative numerical simulation. Other reservoirs were considered homogeneous.
