Sažetak
The Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is new service for mobile environment based on very popular Short Message Service (SMS), with tens of billions of messages every month worldwide. It is standardized by the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Forum and Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). Multimedia Messaging Service will allow users to express themselves more entirely thus making mobile messaging more vreative. This paper deals with MMS, that includes its architecture and standards as well as the benefits for users and network operators.
