Sažetak
First part of the text deals with the need for global positioning of postmodernity, i. e. with presupposition that, in its apparent framework, postmodernism is an Americanism. Second part is concerned with polarities between cultural (Eagleton) and philosophical (Welsch) concept of postmodernity. Both approaches are legitimate in the intention to point out the need for the preservation/salvation of a life-world from the negative influence of an apparent postmodernity. Next section brings into discussion some aspects of a critique of global postmodern world and the need for the change in it. Plaidoyer for a change in the conditions of living/life is given from different philosophical-cultural perspectives: i. e., project of &#8216 ; biopolitics&#8217 ; , the critique of &#8216 ; antinomies of postmodern Reason&#8217 ; , and culture-jamming subversions on media, as a territory of self-contended dominance of global capitalism. Finally, the text pleads for the preservation of a life-world threatened by an American-postmodern euthanasia of the ethical and political fields.
