Sažetak
In my discussion, I will deal more with possible theoretical frameworks on the basis of which contemporary war conflicts within particular civilisations or between civilisations can be observed. In this context, I will apply the fundamental theoretical conceptual principles for the brief analysis of the war conflict in the former Yugoslavia. Before doing so, in relation to the theme of our panel, I would like point out that the mentioned war conflicts were a clear example of the emerging violence, terrorism and war operations that all occurred simultaneously. In addition, most of the victims were members of the civil population &#8211 ; children, women, and the elderly. For instance, more than a hundred thousand women were raped during the war and subsequently prevented from terminating their pregnancies. This is a world-known example of the horrendous violence committed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, the complete destruction of cities like Vukovar and Dubrovnik, the killing of civilians with bombs and snipers in occupied Sarajevo as well as the terrorisation of prisoners in concentration camps are all examples of terrorism.
