Sažetak
In our research we followed production of biodiesel fuel with a special emphasis on storage characteristics of five cultivars of rapeseed (Brassica napus var. oleifera) before and after drying and during the storage. The aim of this paper is to identify a difference in drying speed, as well as the magnitude of the drying differences among various rapeseed “ 00” cultivars and identify mass of 1000 seeds, test weight and looseness of the mentioned cultivars before and after drying. In order to compare different cultivars we worked out polinomial regression equations with the minimum determination coefficient of 0, 995. Different cultivars with different input moisture react differently in the process of drying. It was found in the three-year research period that, under approximately equal conditions at similar input and exit moistures of the seed, “ 00” cultivar Diana dried the quickest, and “ 00” cultivar Semu 93-10 dried the longest. Test weight increases as seed moisture decreases and mass of 1000 seeds decreases as the seed moisture decreases, but differences prior to drying and after drying in test weight and mass of 1000 seeds is not the same between cultivars. Also, in average angles of repose and angle of friction decreases as the seed moisture decreases.
