Sažetak
The partial buffer sharing scheme is very efficient in congestion control of multiple priority loss classes of the traffic. This paper presents analytical simulation results of a four-priority buffer system controlled by partial buffer sharing scheme (PBS). Dependence of optimal threshold positions and allowable maximum load upon buffer capacity for different numbers of output cells is analyzed.
