Sažetak
This paper reports on details of two projects. Theme of the first project is creating the technological database necessary for improvement of process planning and connection database by the Internet environment. THe main difficulty in selection procedure of machine tools and tools is the strong dependence between primary process, workpiece size and shape, machiner tools, tools, determination of production tolerances, sequencing of operations. In the second project the development of the off-line expert system prototype dedicated to quality defect diagnosis in deep drawing technology is described. Database creating, database search strategy, defining of logical relationships and reasoning system reliability are outlined.
