Sažetak
The alga Caulerpa racemosa was found the first time in the Adriatic Sea in autumn 2000 offshore of Marinkovac Islet, located on the west side of Hvar Island (Middle Adriatic). The colonized area is oligotrophic, not affected by human activities and is exposed to strong waves. Caulerpa racemosa had formed 15 rounded colonies from 1 to 6 m in diameter, and from 5 and 15 m depth on sandy and rocky substrate.
