Sažetak
The eighty years in the history and work of the Faculty of Architecture of the University in Zagreb was first shown in the jubilee edition Memorial Book of Faculty [ Sveučilište u Zagrebu - Arhitektonski fakultet, 1919./1920.-1999./2000. ; Osamdeset godina izobrazbe arhitekata u Hrvatskoj, Arhitektonski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, 2000., Zagreb]. To establish continuity in showing Faculty activities, the editorial boards of the Memorial Book and of the scientific journal „ Prostor” have initiated the publication of the Chronicle of the Faculty.The Chronicle focuses on the work and achievements of the Faculty as a whole. It is structured around the basic activities of the Faculty of Architecture in the fields of teaching, scientific and professional work. There is an introductory presentation of administration and structure, a section showing current events, exhibitions and prizes won by teachers and students, and international presentations and specialisation abroad. The primary goal is to show the more important activities of the Faculty, not of individuals, so many teacher activities have been left out and only the most important mentioned.The Chronicle is an attempt to present the work and achievements of the Faculty in the past academic year (1 Oct. 2000 - 30 Sept. 2001) through a systematic survey of facts The value of our work will show itself in time, as more time elapses from the present moment and as the continuous series of annual presentations builds up a historical survey of the development and activities of the Faculty of Architecture.
