Sažetak
Design and construction of complex wood products such as solid or manufactured wood furniture are based on the crucial quality requirements of the user, encompassed by the regulations on the least technical conditions to be fulfilled by the finished products. The application of the new wood materials and construction solutions is therefore preceded by laboratory testing of the chosen construction samples according to the key criteria, above all durability against static and dynamic load. The paper studies the data of the tested angle L joints with rounded tenons and finger joints made from beechwood (Fagus silvatica), mainily using for sitting furniture. The criteria for assembling and gluing the chosen joints, which ara the results of lab tests, ae a prerequisite for the correction of the calculations and the comparison of the results in the systamatic approch to the automatic computer-aided construction, and are an indispensable tool in designing new products.
