Sažetak
New, computer-controlled equipment for measuring all the parameters of electric energy consumption on sewing machines is presented for the first time. It has been developed in The Department of Clothing Technology, Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, and consists of a three-phase dev ice for measuring power and energy consumption, three digital wattmeters, three current and tension measuring transformers, an A/D converter and a personal computer. Second part of the paper gives the first results of measuring energy characteristics on sewing machines. The need is stressed for introducing the measuring system described, as well as the dependence of the power necessary upon the sewing machine rotational speed.
