Sažetak
The paper presents investigation of, various types of hot melt adhesives, and various types of adhernds for temperature resistance and durability, which was testing with various testing methods. Investigation embraced adhesives on the following basis: - ethylene/vinyl acetate (EVA), - polyamide (PA), - polyurethane (PU), - polyolephine (PO). Adherends were on the following basis: - solid beech, 5 mm ("T" shaped samples) and lath 12 mm thick, - beech veneer, o, 6 mm thick, - PVC strip, 3 mm thick, - paper strip, 0, 6 mm thick, - HPL laminate (strip), 0, 9 mm thick. The adhesives were comparatively tested with various testing methods for their resistance to changes temperature and climatic conditions. All adhesives exhibit different characteristics under the conditions of - temperature changes, - prolonged elevated temperature, - cyclic climatic changes. The aim of the work was the investigation of the bond strength of various edging materials glued with four different hotmelts when was joint exposed at different climatic conditions, and to establish the most suitable methods for assessment of the strenght bond.
