Sažetak
Geotechnical measurements are the fundamental part of the Observational Method. These measurements can also be used as a powerful tool to enhance our knowledge of in situ soil behaviour and in situ soil parameters. Several case histories of geotechnical projects in Croatia with extensive monitoring are described and it is shown how these measurements were used along with sophisticated constitutive modelling to analyse soil behaviour during construction.
