Sažetak
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a methodology used to evaluate the environmental impacts of a product or process throughout its entire life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to the disposal or recycling of the product at the end of its useful life. The goal of LCA is to identify the environmental burdens associated with a product or process and to provide insights into opportunities for reducing these burdens. LCA consists of four main stages: goal and scope definition, inventory analysis, impact assessment, and interpretation. LCA is a useful tool for decision-making and sustainability assessment in various industries, such as manufacturing, construction, and transportation. It can help companies identify opportunities for reducing their environmental footprint and improve their sustainability performance.
