Sažetak
As an intersubjective reality developing through asocial interaction, culture is expressed through symbols and signs. The system of symbols/signs is linked to "shared space" through common heritage and experience ; a multitude of symbols and signs, representing possible group cultures and identities, is superimposed onto this space, producing a diversified and sophisticated cultural/spatial complex. This paper attempts to trace some elements of this compound structure by examining names of various firms (enterprises), seen as signs of culture and identity.
