Sažetak
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), in combination with experimental research, is commonly used to determine combustion parameters and evaluate emission properties. In this work, ammonia/methane mixture combustion is investigated in terms of ignition delays and laminar flame speeds and validated against experimental data. Autoignition data is generated from non-dimensional constant pressure reactors and San Diego mechanism in LOGE software. Four parameters are used to define the grid of autoignition database: pressure, temperature, equivalence ratio and ammonia/methane ratio. Laminar flame speed data is generated with one-dimensional freely propagating reactors and the same mechanism. Additionally, various methods of imputation and extrapolation were applied for database generation using correlation functions and algorithms to address missing data.
