Sažetak
The aim of the investigation was to evaluate the line Bc 703-19 as a source of resistance to Fusarium stalk rot. The resistant line Bc 703-19 was crossed with the susceptible line Bc 17-17. In 1995 and 1997, parents, F1, F2, and backcross generation (BC1 and BC2) were tested for resistance in field trials in Rugvica. Based on generation means analysis, environmental variance accounted for the greatest proportion of phenotypic variance for resistance to stalk rot.
