Sažetak
In line with the novel methodological approach for extracting and analysing phraseological units in tombstones, which was successfully presented on EUROPHRAS 2021 conference, this talk aims at presenting the corpus of PUs from the remaining nine communal graveyards on the island of Pag, Croatia (in Lun, Zubovići, Metajna, Kolan, Šimuni, Gorica, Povljana, Dinjiška and Vlašići) as well as the results of their classification and structural analysis. The results so far, for the two biggest graveyards in Pag and Novalja, have proved the hypotheses of the reasonable possibility and need for their diversified typological classification and structural analysis (138 PUs out of 127 epitaphs for Pag graveyard and 220 PUs out of 145 epitaphs for Novalja graveyard). The preliminary data for the mentioned nine communal graveyards have shown a similar ratio between the number of epitaphs and extracted PUs, as well as the great similarity in their classification. Since this paper will be presented as the final step in the tripartite research, as far as the island of Pag is concerned, we will be able to draw some important conclusions for the whole study, supporting both the theoretical and applied approaches to the study. The results will also be used to suggest and support some new research in the field, provide some concrete solutions for the creation of corpora of both epitaphs and PUs, as well as to introduce some specific lexicographic ideas in compiling a specialized dictionary.
