Sažetak
Comfort is a result of physiological, psychological, and physical influences in space. Many research studies have shown that work performance is greatly affected by the level of comfort offered by the working environment. Design criteria, calculations, measurements, and subjective evaluations are the main indicators for the evaluation of the building's performance. Users’ survey is an important qualitative indicator for ensuring the satisfactory operation of a building. The case studies presented in this paper investigate the effect of glass facades on users' visual and thermal comfort. The survey results on selected office and public buildings in Croatia show a certain level of dissatisfaction among the building’s users. As the perception and subjective evaluation differ for individuals, discomfort is inevitable. The paper highlights the impact of applied glass types on users' comfort. The indoor environment should be designed in a way that users’ health and comfort are assured.
