Sažetak
This paper aims to present tactical and technical aspects of irritant spray devices as a means of coercion. Likewise, it seeks to give a brief overview of the relevant legal aspects. Irritant spray devices are presented in terms of their canister content and delivery systems, as well as in terms of how they are used. Other elements that impact the efficiency of use and the safety of police officers are also presented, such as distance, movement, communication, procedures in contamination cases and the provision of first aid measures.
