Sažetak
This paper gives an overview of the available care for the elderly, and points to some problems with the elderly refugees and displaced persons. Many problems in the organization of the health and social welfare services can be anticipated. However, in present situation when the whole population feels consequences of the war and critical economic conditions, one can not expect rapid improvement. While, on the one side, the needs for care are more acute than before, on the other side, scarce available resources require most serious approach in trying to find satisfactory solutions.
