Sažetak
This chapter begins by illustrating that a joint teaching program of educational institutions from different countries seems to be a suitable approach to enhance the global competence of graduates and teaching staff. Then, it provides findings from the best practice case “INTENSE” on the choice of the rights partners and likely challenges in this endeavor. The project comprised the set-up of an international student consultancy and a respective teaching module. To illustrate the partner choice, the chapter continues with an application of the CAGE framework that measures cultural, administrative, geographic, and economic dimensions of proximity. Besides an illustration of a best practice case, a key lesson from this chapter is that the CAGE framework can facilitate future international teaching cooperation by enabling Higher Education Institutions to choose their partners strategically.
