Sažetak
In this paper the authors consider the tendencies of contemporary art practice and its creation processes, more precisely the links from the subject to the object in the process of developing ideas and their implementation in teaching at all levels of education. Certain aspects of visual creativity are analyzed and places of application in the educational process of subject curriculum of fine art / visual culture are found. The changing paradigm of teaching from "fine art to visual" in art education is precisely the process that is the main determinant of participatory and new-media art. Teaching contents dealing with contemporary visual art, besides objects, installations and new-media art practice, deal with processes as means of establishing certain unique relationships between subjects, as well as examining the effects of these art projects in the real life of participants from the artists towards the audience. Therefore, modern art education as well as contemporary visual arts is not enough to deal with aesthetic concepts, but it is necessary to use art forms to create and shape everyday life, or to engage in ethical beauty. The transfer of these processes into the teaching that involves the creative activity of students, connects the contemporary life context of students and the curriculum as a process, and students learn how to create social relationships mediated by images. Therefore, in the teaching of fine art / visual culture one of the important teaching topics is to determine the notion of a socially and politically engaged art or artistic activism. On this basis, art education is proposed, which deals with the transfer of thinking from contemporary visual art to the educational process. These ways of thinking include a creative process, new cognitive forms, interdisciplinarity, algorithmic approach, judgment of the world, intrasubjectivity and emotion issues, and intersubjectivity as the creation of new relationships and the establishment of communication. Such personal experience in art education can serve to further identify opportunities in identifying and solving problems and has a strong educational effect.
