Sažetak
Textile fibres and textile dye wastewater are frequently highly coloured and may contain metals such as copper, chromium, iron, zinc, cobalt and nickel. Wastewater and residues also often contain toxic organic chemicals. A possibility of metal ion separation and identification by thin-layer chromatography after sample microwave digestion with nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide was examined. The best separation was achieved on microcrystalline cellulose pre-coated layers with iso-amyl alcohol-acetonitrile-HCl developer and by visualisation with quercetine-dimethiglioxime-NH3 reagent. A highly sensitive 3CCD colour video camera was used to capture the chromatograms under white light.
