Sažetak
In this study, a digital twin framework is presented to provide real-time prediction of environmental conditions and hydrodynamic performance for the purpose of risk assessment and optimal route planning. The concept of the digital twin is explained, and the main challenges associated with its implementation are highlighted. The authors provide a comprehensive overview of the proposed digital twin approach, integrated into a decision support system for ship route planning.
